HOW IT WORKS:

• Domperidone: A dopamine antagonist that increases the movement of the stomach and intestines, helping to move food through the stomach more quickly and preventing nausea and vomiting.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

• Take the capsule orally with water, preferably before meals.
• Follow the dosage instructions provided by your doctor, typically once daily.
• Swallow the capsule whole without crushing or chewing to ensure proper release of the medication. 

SIDE EFFECTS:

• Common: Headache, dizziness, dry mouth, abdominal pain, diarrhea, and constipation.
• Serious: Severe allergic reactions (rash, itching, swelling), irregular heartbeat, severe abdominal pain, and persistent diarrhea.

WARNINGS & PRECAUTIONS:

• Contraindications: Do not use if you are allergic to esomeprazole, domperidone, or any component of the capsules. Avoid use in patients with moderate to severe liver impairment or those with a history of cardiac arrhythmias.
• Consultation: Inform your doctor about any existing medical conditions, especially liver disease, kidney disease, or heart problems. Discuss all medications and supplements you are currently taking to avoid potential interactions.
• Interactions: Can interact with medications such as ketoconazole, erythromycin, and antiretroviral drugs. Avoid using other medications that prolong the QT interval without medical advice.
• Storage: Store at room temperature away from moisture and heat. Keep out of reach of children.
• Dosage Adherence: Take the medication exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Do not skip doses or stop the medication suddenly without consulting your doctor, as this can worsen your condition.
