Filana 50
Filana 50 is used to treats erectile dysfunction. Avanafil-50 present in Filana 50 is in a class of medications called phosphodiesterase (PDE) inhibitors. It works by increasing blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation. This increased blood flow can cause an erection. Filana 50 tablets should be taken orally as recommended by Doctor.
INDICATIONS AND USAGE :
FILANA is a phosphodiesterase 5 (PDE5) inhibitor indicated for treatment of erectile dysfunction.
CONTRAINDICATIONS :
Nitrates :
Administration of FILANA with any form of organic nitrates, either regularly and/or intermittently, is contraindicated.
Hypersensitivity Reactions :
FILANA is contraindicated in patients with a known hypersensitivity to any component of the tablet. Hypersensitivity reactions have been reported, including pruritis and eyelid swelling.
Concomitant Guanylate Cyclase (GC) Stimulators :
Do not use FILANA in patients who are using a GC stimulator, such as riociguat. PDE5 inhibitors, including FILANA may potentiate the hypotensive effects of GC stimulators.
OVERDOSAGE :
In cases of overdose, standard supportive measures should be adopted as required. Renal dialysis is not expected to accelerate clearance because avanafil is highly bound to plasma proteins and is not significantly eliminated in the urine.
STORAGE :
Store at temperature 20-25’C; excursions permitted to 30’C. Protect from light.
Keep the medicine out of reach of children.
