BENEFITS:

• Relieves symptoms of allergic rhinitis (hay fever) such as sneezing, runny or itchy nose, and itchy or watery eyes.

HOW IT WORKS:

• Montelukast is a leukotriene receptor antagonist that blocks substances called leukotrienes. Leukotrienes cause narrowing and swelling of airways in the lungs and also cause allergy symptoms.
• Fexofenadine is an antihistamine that reduces the effects of natural chemical histamine in the body. Histamine can produce symptoms of sneezing, itching, watery eyes, and runny nose.
• The combination helps in providing a comprehensive approach to managing and alleviating allergy and asthma symptoms.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

• Take one tablet orally, usually once daily in the evening, or as directed by your healthcare provider.
• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water, with or without food.
• Follow the prescribed dosage and duration as directed by your healthcare provider. 

SIDE EFFECTS:

• Common: Headache, dizziness, drowsiness, nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, diarrhea.
• Serious: Severe allergic reactions (rash, itching, swelling, severe dizziness), mood or mental changes (such as agitation, aggression, hallucinations, depression, suicidal thoughts), liver problems (such as yellowing eyes/skin, dark urine, persistent nausea/vomiting).

Seek immediate medical attention if you experience any severe side effects. 

WARNINGS & PRECAUTIONS:

• Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to montelukast, fexofenadine, or any component of the formulation.
• Consultation: Inform your doctor about any other medications you are taking, including over-the-counter drugs and supplements. Discuss your medical history, especially if you have liver disease, kidney disease, or mental/mood disorders.
• Interactions: Montelukast and fexofenadine may interact with other medications such as certain antibiotics, antifungals, and other antihistamines. Consult your healthcare provider about potential drug interactions.
• Storage: Store at room temperature away from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date.
• Dosage Adherence: Take the tablet exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Do not exceed or skip doses. Do not stop taking the medication suddenly without consulting your doctor. Regularly follow up with your healthcare provider to monitor your condition and any potential side effects.
