BENEFITS:

HOW IT WORKS:

• Sertraline is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI).

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

• Take one tablet orally with or without food, usually once daily, either in the morning or evening as prescribed by your healthcare provider.

• Follow the prescribed dosage and duration as directed by your healthcare provider. 

SIDE EFFECTS:

• Common: Nausea, diarrhea, dry mouth, loss of appetite, increased sweating, dizziness, drowsiness, trouble sleeping.
• Serious: Severe allergic reactions (rash, itching, swelling, severe dizziness), unusual bleeding or bruising, fast/irregular heartbeat, muscle stiffness, confusion, seizures, vision changes.

WARNINGS & PRECAUTIONS:

• Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to sertraline or any component of the formulation. Concurrent use with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or pimozide.
• Consultation: Inform your doctor about any other medications you are taking, including over-the-counter drugs and supplements. Discuss your medical history, especially if you have a history of bipolar disorder, liver disease, seizure disorder, or any other significant health issues.
